Animation Lesson 101.3

To follow up on my animation major, I have been researching character designs and basic animation lessons. I really want to try to work with black and white character designs, since beginning in black and white will help me understand shades and tones better when I work with colors. There aren't a lot of black and white character designs since most clients prefer to have the designs in color but I did manage to find a few and really like the style. 

There is this artist called Olivia Margraf-Posta,  and I really really love her work and fell in love with it almost instantly and am currently practicing trying to make my cartoon character like like this.
