The Mist Television Show isn't going so well

I recently watched this video explaining the new television show " The Mist" based on the old mist movie. I do love "The Mist" and decided to see if the television show was holding up to it's expectations. Sadly, it wasn't. The show had added in some new traits of what the mist can do, like illusions based off of memories, speak to it's victims, weed out the "impure"and make sounds that people can hear instead of just the monsters themselves. It wouldn't have been so bad if it wasn't delivered so poorly. For instance, one of the female character's memories are of her mother something only she should know about and has seen and spoken to the mist's representation of the mother having a conversation about the female's past sins but yet the other character can also hear the fake mother, it just doesn't fit. And the more the show goes on the more it strays from the original movie and becomes more of something cheesy .
